Terms of Service
Plain language, because that's how we do everything. Effective September 2026.
Who we are. Area Indoor Plants (formerly Area Indoor Planting Co.) is a family-owned interior plantscaping company in Los Angeles, California. These terms cover your use of this website and our text-message service. Using the site, or texting with us, means you're okay with them. Questions any time: (818) 957-8719 or [email protected].
The website
- Everything on this site (photos, guides, pricing pages) is here to help you understand our work. It's provided as-is, for information; it isn't a binding offer.
- Proposals, estimates, and pricing become commitments only when we agree on them together in writing for your specific space. Plants are living things and every building is different, so the details always get confirmed person-to-person.
- Please use the site normally: no scraping, no misusing the forms, no passing our photos or content off as your own.
Text messages (SMS)
When you share your phone number with us (through a form on this site, over the phone, or by texting or calling our business number first), you're agreeing that we may text you about your inquiry and your plant service: scheduling, service questions, and replies to messages you send us. It's conversational customer care, not a marketing blast.
- Frequency: varies with what's going on with your service; for most people it's a few texts a month at most.
- Cost: we never charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply per your phone plan.
- Opting out: reply STOP at any time and the texts stop. Reply HELP, or call (818) 957-8719, if you need a hand.
- Delivery: texting rides the mobile carriers' networks, so we can't promise a message is never delayed or dropped. Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and for anything time-critical, please call.
- Privacy: how we handle your number is covered in our Privacy Policy. The short version: never sold, never shared with third parties for their marketing.
The honest legal part
- We stand behind our plant work through the service agreements we make with each client; this website itself comes with no warranties.
- To the extent the law allows, our liability arising from the use of this website or our messaging is limited to the greatest extent permitted, and either way, we're a family business that fixes problems by showing up, not by hiding behind fine print.
- These terms are governed by California law.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and its effective date. Questions about any of it? Call (818) 957-8719. You'll get a person, not a portal.
